UPDATE!

Little Sammie has been doing some growing in these weeks after rescue!! He is now approximately 5 months old and weighs approximately 29 pounds.

Sammie has had all three rounds of puppy vaccinations and Rabies vaccine, too.   He's also been microchipped; so, he's all done except for his neuter surgery.  We've been giving his body time to grow and develop before having him neutered, but that will be done soon! 

All that will be left to do is to find a great home for this handsome and oh, so sweet boy!

Please meet SAMMIE!   We believe he is a Husky (mix?) and approximately 12 weeks old.   And, he's already learning to retrieve!  See the video!

This cutie has received his first round of puppy shots and has been wormed.   He will be ready for adoption in a few months after he's finished with vaccines and has been neutered!   Time enough for you to plan and make ready his forever home!

Or, if you feel that he's the guy for you, we can arrange a 'foster-to-adopt' situation that will allow you to have him now; but, not adopt until all his medical needs have been satisfied.  BHS will pay for all his vet appointments and provide his heartworm prevention until adoption!
