Luna is a strikingly beautiful, young, (~12 to 18 months) female Doberman who was found wandering in a neighborhood where she is believed to have been dumped. She was starved, very cold, and afraid.

She was taken in that night by good Samaritans who have kept her safe, warm, and well-fed. In their care, Luna went from being a fearful, reactive dog to one that loves affection and is very playful with her canine roomies.

These people were NOT prepared to have another dog in the home as there are 5 already there. So we are also searching for a great foster home for Luna in the event an adoptive home doesn't turn up quickly.

BHS will pay for any vetting and provide heartworm prevention while Luna is being fostered. All the basics have already been done... vaccines, spay, microchip and a negative heartworm test!   All that's needed at this point is a loving home and a kind heart!

This beautiful and soo sweet girl is ready to go to a new home right away! Please help her get on with her life!
