Take a look at this handsome face! This boy's name is Hank, and he was rescued from the side of the road back in late February. It was sleeting and the temps to be below freezing for the next few nights. A kind soul stopped and saved him from that misery, even though she already had several dogs at home.

Hank has been fostered through the summer and regained good health, been treated for heartworms and neutered. He's also had all his vaccines and been microchipped. The rescuer knows that Hank is ready for his very own home.

He is a 56-pound, 2-year-old Lab mix who does well with the other dogs in the home. The foster said that he is crate trained and house trained, too. He's not crazy about the leash, but does OK, especially when walking with another dog. He still could use some work on that, tho. For a young Lab, he is pretty laid-back and he loves tummy rubs. He knows 'sit.' He will sit while bowls are being prepared, and not start to eat until given the signal.

Hank is a great dog who has had his bad luck changed to good!  Let's keep it going and give him a great, safe, and loving home.   Labs are wonderful family members and you will be glad you have him in your life!
