This is Balto! He is not only a very handsome 2-year-old, but a very intelligent one, too! He was rescued from the New Caney area a while back, and was in horrible condition. But, Balto has now been fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. The finder has managed all that herself; but, is in desperate need of finding another place for Balto to live - either temporarily until a home is found OR a full-on adoptive home!

Balto is unusual because it is evident that he has had professional training. We wonder, in fact, if he may have been a service dog; but then, how would he be lost and no one searching everywhere for him? Whatever the case, Balto is great on leash, knows his commands instantly, and heels like a Pro, stuck to your side and looking up for any further command.
