This little kitten was found Monday, March 3rd, scratching at our door. She appears to be about 3 months old, solid gray with a gorgeous coat. I live in the Lake Shadows area of Crosby. Found adult female Pekingese, no collar, tan/white with some gray. She is very heavy, probably close to 20 pounds, snores and snorts a lot. Very friendly and loves attention, rides in vehicle like a pro. Found corner of CR 605 / CR 611 in Dayton/Eastgate area. She was scared when we found her on December 30th around 8:00 p.m.

On the evening of December 30th, I almost ran over a Dachshund on Raccoon Drive by the entrance to Whispering Pines. She was in the middle of the street, so I picked her up. She has a collar, but NO ID TAGS!! Her muzzle is grey, so I think she must be an older dog. She is obviously someone's pet, and I would like to see her reunited with her family. I live in Parkwood subdivision off of Raccoon.

This reddish-brown & white 3 legged female dog was found on December 6th near Buffalo Bayou and Wayside Drive. She looks like possibly a Pit or Boxer mix (with shorter legs). She is very friendly, loves a belly rub, children, hugs, but barks at other dogs and cats. Her left front leg was amputated at the shoulder, looks like some time ago. She has on a red collar, but no tags. I am unable to keep her, but am willing to help with costs to vet her.

Found female Lab mix in the Plumwood neighborhood (between James St. and Ward Rd.) in Baytown on Friday, November 23rd. We live on Sheridan drive. She is a rust color and is wearing a green collar with “Remington” on it, but there is no tag. We believe she is around 5 to 9 months old. She has a very sweet personality. She gets along with our two dogs and cat. She has not been spayed.

Found a female (could be a male) kitten or very small adult Siamese mix. White with blue or gray stripes on her feet, tail & forehead, and she sports very big beautiful blues eyes. Very sweet and loving, but also very thin. She seems to be a house cat as she wants inside very badly. We tried bringing her in and she had no problem with our animals, but our animals had a problem with her. So we are having to leave her outside. It is very cold and rainy tonight so we are all feeling very sorry for her.

We have been petting and feeding her to keep her near our apartment.

She showed up here at Madrid Colony town homes on Beaumont St, near Alexander, in Baytown around November 18th.

Found two dogs sitting by the side of the road on Crosby-Eastgate Road (in Crosby) on Sunday, July 8th. The mother appears to be a young Australian Cattle Dog aka Red Heeler mix, about 25-30 pounds, and is a reddish brown/white. The puppy is also female, about 3-4 months old, reddish brown with dark brown blotches. They both have docked tails.

We found a young female black lab, about 3 to 4 months old, in the vicinity of Chaparral Village on East Baker Road on February 25th. We found a male Bassett Hound, maybe 5-6 years old, in the Veranda housing addition off of FM 565. This dog is very unique in that he is a male, but he has very large nipples. He appears to have had a broken leg that is healed. One leg is sprawled out, but still very functional. He does run and play on it. He loves to play with other dogs, but wary of people. An adoreable pup was found wandering the parking lot at Baytown Seafood in Crosby Texas on April 29th. She is very friendly as she was trying to look in every vehicle to see if they were her owner. She appeared to have recently had a bath & in very good health. She was found with no collar. We put one on her as there was a wear mark on her neck so we thought she would feel better with a collar on. She is approx 4-6 months old and acted as if she had been allowed indoors since she knew what the sofa was however we have been keeping her outside. She rides well in a vehicle. On Sunday, March 11th around 10 a.m., I found a miniature Boxer-like or Terrier (I’m not really a dog person) on Garth Rd. at Baker. He is tan with a black face and his right front paw is white. Christmas morning this young, (~1y.o.), male Australian Shepherd arrived in our neighborhood, looking cold, hungry and lost. He was wearing only a white flea collar. We have put up posters in our area and called the nearby vet clinics, and the Baytown Animal Shelter, and no one has made an inquiry as to whether he has been located.

Found Thurs Dec 28th running North on FM 3180 (Eagle Dr) in Mont Belvieu, between FM 565 and Cherry Point, near Eagle Pointe Golf Course. He is a large black long hair dog, with brown spots above eyes/face and some brown on his body. Young male, approx. 80-100lbs. This cute white poodle has made our house his home since July 29th in the morning. He first showed up here July 26th at night after the rain. He left that night but came back. He is very friendly and seems to be comfortable inside. He also seems to be somewhat trained. We have been leaving him in the unfenced front yard and he doesn't leave. A medium-large sized stray dog has been sighted in Mont Belvieu; once on Eagle Drive near the golf course and the next day in Cherry Pointe. Very friendly, loves to have neck rubbed, leans against your legs then slides down to feet so you can rub her tummy. She seems comfortable being outdoors. Tips her dog dish over to eat. We rescued this terrier mix from the traffic on Garth Road. She has a pink fabric collar, no tags. She appears to be in excellent health, 1-2 years old, possibly unaltered, and has a thick, wiry, medium long blonde coat with strawberry tips. She loves people, is VERY energetic and playful, has never tried to bite or snap, and seems to be a smart little dog.
