Dusty is a little Terrier-boy who is packed full of personality!  We don't know what happened to his ears, but while they look funny (endearing, really) they work just fine!  This little haystack gets along fine with other dogs, is housetrained, walks well on leash, is on regular heartworm prevention, has been fully vaccinated, neutered and had his dew claws removed.  We guesstimate him to be about a year-and-a-half old, and he weighs approximately 15 pounds.  But, if character or cute personality weighed anything, this little guy would be 100 pounds!  He will cuddle some, but prefers to retrieve the small tennis ball or roughhouse a bit.  Runs like the wind and will let you know if someone approaches, but he does not dig, chew or bark unnecessarily.  This little fella is going to brighten the life of some lucky family!  Fill out our Adoption Application or E-mail us.

ELLIE

Ellie is just too cute for words!  At about 4 years of age and weighing in at approx 5 pounds, this darling little girl was somehow surviving on the streets when she was rescued.  She was filthy, dehydrated and terrified, but has now become the Queen of the foster home!  She has been fully vaccinated, spayed and is receiving regular heartworm prevention.  She loves to cuddle, and under the covers is her favorite place.  She's learned to navigate stairs, too, and does OK with other dogs, although she's a little reluctant.  Being so tiny must present a whole new set of problems when living with other animals.  Ellie seems a little more comfortable with the cat in the home, but the cat is used to dogs and not impressed...so, her behavior towards Ellie directs that relationship.  Please consider Ellie, if you are looking for a little critter to cuddle and spoil!  She can certainly fill that bill!
