MURPHY
Murphy
LOOKS a little intense, but he's really a cream
puff! He is, of course, not a happy little Terrier
while life passes him by; but,
who would be glad about that? Murphy is thought to
be approximately 2 years of age, but we think he's
an old soul. He's just got that knowing, wise look
in his eyes! =) We can all learn and benefit from
an old soul! Updates for Murphy coming soon,
in the meantime,

NIKKI
Nikki
sits with a very worried
expression! She doesn't like all the sounds
and smells of the shelter, and quickly grabbed
onto us when we lifted her out of there. We
think she's about 2 years of age, and with a
good bath, her blonde, scruffy coat will
glisten! To say she is sweet is an
understatement! Get to the shelter quick, and
adopt this darling if you can keep her safe and
loved for the rest of her life! Nikki has
been spayed and is ready for you in P-02!

OLLIE
Ollie
is a darling lemon-colored sweetheart with
a limousine body! =) The shelter has him
listed as a Basset mix, but on close
examination, we kinda think it should say
Corgi mix! WHAT a sweet boy Ollie is, even
in his present scary circumstances! He's
only about 2 years old, and is so grateful
for attention. He's generous with his
kisses, but he's not a pest! Ask for Ollie
in Kennel 61 and bring Ollie home to live in
style! You will never regret it!

PARKER
Parker was so named
because he insisted on 'parking it' every
time he saw the camera pointed in his
direction. We were so lucky to get that one
of him standing early on, because after that
he made a habit of parking it for all his
poses! =) Parker is listed as a Golden
Retriever mix puppy of about 4 months of
age. He's got that pearly gray coloring and
green eyes like a Weimaraner, but who cares
what his mix. His heart is as pure as they
come. He's a very calm puppy who is missing
the security of someone to love him in these
early months. He wants to be cuddled and
told it will be all right. We so hope that
we aren't telling him a lie! Please visit
Parker in Kennel 21, and keep us honest by
taking that baby home to be cherished for
the rest of his life. He's going to be a
gorgeous adult and he's neutered and ready
for his forever home!!

PAX
Pax
was so very excited to be out of his cage!
He did a little dance around our feet and
then led us outside where it was pouring
rain. Pax had business to take care of, no
matter the weather! This loveable little
guy is listed as an Italian
Greyhound/Chihuahua mix. He's young and
he's gleeful! Please ask for Pax in Kennel
15 and take a moment to get to know him.
He's a darling boy, and he needs a safe and
loving home, now! What a cutie!
Pax has been neutered and is ready to go!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

PEARL

Pearl was found homeless, hungry and pregnant by
a Good Samaritan who was unable to find her owner. This little
thing appears to be a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, about a year old
and who weighs about 15 pounds. She was named Pearl due to her
color and the fact that she's definitely a precious gem! She gets
along wonderfully with the other dogs in the foster home, with big
Buck being her BFF! They hunt and play together as if they were the
same size. Pearl is housetrained and would rather hunt squirrels
than eat...well, almost! =) Her nicknames range from Pearl Girl to
Squirrel Girl! She is very responsive to your voice, has one
'hello' ear while the other says 'good-bye,' and is such a sweet,
sweet little dog. When it's too dark to scan for squirrels, she can
be found cuddled with someone in front of the television! She
learns amazingly fast, and wants to please with her every
deed. Pearl is now spayed, fully vaccinated and ready to go to
her permanent home. If you think that our Pearl-Girl is for you,
please complete the application to adopt. She is one you will
cherish forever.

RANDY
Randy is so very frightened right now.
Look at that face and see the sweet,
innocent, bewildered guy that he is waiting
in Kennel 38. This boy is already neutered,
so someone cared about him once. How he
wound up here is a mystery, but he's not
happy about it. We think we see a little
Sheltie in him and who knows what else, but
he's truly a kind soul who is being swept
along like debris in this fast moving
world. He just wants a nice family who can
love him like he will love them. He's such a
precious boy! Please visit Randy today and
Adopt him!!

RASTUS

Rastus! Oh, now,
you have to admit, that name suits this quirky, clever little guy!
Looks like a cross between a Pug and a Chihuahua to us, but who
knows! He IS a darling little fellow, though and weighs all of 11
pounds. Rastus has a neat short coat, and the MOST precious little
worried face with his down-turned mouth. He gets along well with the
other dogs in the home and is full of energy and play, but he also
hides his face in the crook of you arm for cuddles! Rastus has been
fully vaccinated, neutered and is on regular monthly heartworm
prevention to keep him heartworm free! He is the perfect little guy
to have on your lap while watching TV, although it will probably be
pretty entertaining just to watch Rastus!! Just look at that
face!! =) Apply for this little cutie and take him home to share
a long life of mutual love!! Fill out our

ROCKET
Rocket is so, so tiny! This little tri-colored
Chihuahua needs a little skin care on his feet
and legs. Appears to be an allergy to
something, and that's an easy fix in a home!
Rocket is in a crate in the garage area of the
shelter. Ask for him and they will bring him
out for you to visit! He can't weigh more than
5 pounds, if that; and he's miserable in that
little cage. His personality is darling! He
did a little stomp-dance to get my attention
when I was looking at another dog, nearby.
Please help this sweet boy out and adopt him
today. We think he's allergic to being in the
shelter!! Take him home and give him have a
healthy, happy life!Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

SALLY
Sally
is a beautiful pup who was tossed away like garbage, as so many are
out near the bay in Beach City. She chose a family to rescue her,
and they chose us to help find her a home! Sally is obviously a
mixed-breed, (aren't we all??) and we think we see some Australian
Shepherd, Collie, and maybe German Shepherd in her lineage! Fine
dogs, all! She is getting acclimated to living around humans
again, and this time she will learn that humans are a good thing and
that these won't abandon her to die like the first humans did. She
is being housetrained; and, so far, it looks as if she prefers to go
outside for that anyway! Sally is thought to be about 6-7 months
old, and she has now been wormed, vaccinated and spayed. She gets
along famously with the resident dogs in the home and is growing
into a beautiful, loving dog. All she needs to make life perfect
now is a forever home! If you can provide this sweet baby with a
safe and loving home, please apply today. The sooner she can get
into her forever home, the sooner you and she will have a faithful
companion to share life's journey.

SARAH
Sara is BEYOND
sweet!!! She is as gentle as a lamb and as
sweet as honey...not to even mention being a
beautiful, graceful girl. We think she is about
2 1/2 years old and obviously learned to love
humans somewhere along the way. She showered us
with kisses and wanted to just curl up and
cuddle in our laps when we took her from Kennel
63 to have a walk and get her pictures taken.
Sara is definitely a keeper - just look into
those eyes! She so deserves to be kept by a
loving family in a safe home! Go see her today!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

SCRAPPY
Scrappy
is so named, not because he's belligerent, but because he
was put together from the scraps left lying around one work
day in Heaven! His head is too big for his body, and his
body starts off pretty stocky at the front with a wiry coat,
and then gets smaller toward the rear with a smooth
coat...And it's all topped off with a upturned tail and a
little attitude! Scrappy KNOWS he's pretty special and Very
cute! He's a strutter on leash, and a cuddler in your
lap. We think some of his parts are Wire-haired Dachshund,
but the other parts remain just scraps! See this little
dude in Kennel 06 and bring home lots of fun and pure joy
when you adopt Scrappy!
He
has been neutered and he's ready to be yours!
