A SUCCESS!!!

Thank you, Baytown Kennel Club, for putting on a
wonderful, fun-filled and productive event on our behalf! We know these things
are a lot of work, and we cannot tell you how much we appreciate your effort!
You did a great job, and you raised $420 for Baytown Humane Society!! Some poor
dog owes you its very life, as this will completely pay for
having a homeless dog fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, treated for
intestinal & external parasites and given heartworm treatment! Your hard work
really made a difference! In addition
to the funds raised by the kennel club, BHS held a raffle that raised $106, we
gained a new member at the family level of $35, and a previous adopter gave a
'thank-you' donation of $100.
So, all totaled, the
Baytown Kennel Club's Doggone Easter Egg Hunt raised $661
for the homeless animals in Baytown Humane
Society's program! And, they made is so much fun, too! We are very
grateful to Jerry Raney (our BKC point person!) and all the others who worked in
the days and weeks before the event to make sure this effort was successful!
You did a fantastic job! Below are
snapshots of some of the participants in The Hunt! There were lots of familiar
faces, both human and canine; and lots of new friendly faces, too! We were
gratified at the turnout, and hope that everyone had as much fun as we did on
that sunny Saturday communing with friends!
