The message of NOT giving Animals as Gifts applies to baby chicks, ducklings, puppies, kittens and any other living being unscrupulous people will take advantage of during Holidays. Here is an example of what some people will do for profit.
In 2004, less than two weeks from Easter Sunday, we find these poor creatures in the Pasadena Shelter.
Discarded like the pretty foil on a chocolate egg.
These guys have no purpose now, no future. For what? Give them a purpose! Encourage your friends to steer clear of BAD IDEAS such as purchasing a poor living creature, dyed like an Easter Egg. Remember the message, Animals should not be given as Gifts! Animals are not a novelty item you can discard once the Holidays pass.
Do it for these guys, they deserve better!
